About the role: | As a Social media specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our website. also planning and executing media buying strategies across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and experience in digital advertising and media buying. |
Responsibilities: | Social Media Specialist Duties: Develop and Execute Social Media Strategies: • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, videos, written) across social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. • Develop social media content calendars and schedule posts to ensure consistent online presence. • Plan and execute social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic. Monitor and Analyze Performance: • Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns. • Adjust strategies based on performance data and trends. • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Engage with Audience: • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. • Foster community engagement and brand loyalty. Media Buyer Duties: Plan and Execute Media Buying Strategies: • Develop media buying strategies for various digital channels including social media, display advertising, and search engines. • Negotiate and purchase advertising space on digital platforms. • Ensure campaigns are delivered within budget and reach target audiences effectively. Optimize Campaign Performance: • Monitor ad performance and adjust bids, placements, and creative elements to optimize results. • Conduct A/B testing to identify the most effective strategies and creatives. • Analyze campaign data and generate reports on performance metrics. Collaborate with Team: • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media and media buying strategies align with overall marketing goals. • Coordinate with content creators and graphic designers to develop engaging ad creatives. • Collaborate with other departments to support their media buying needs and campaigns. |
Requirements: | Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist and Media
Buyer or similar role. • Alexandria resident is a MUST. • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and digital advertising best practices. • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager). • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret social media and advertising metrics. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. |
